Tom is an internationally-recognized and respected thought leader and evangelist in the realm of emerging digital technologies. A man of many hats, Tom is a Global Vice President for SAP, a guest lecturer at the Instituto Internacional San Telmo, and a board advisor for a number of start-ups.
For a number of years, Tom has worked as an independent industry analyst focusing on the Internet of Things, Energy and CleanTech and as a Futurist for Gerd Leonhardt’s Futures Agency.
Tom has a very strong background in technology and social media having worked in the industry since 1991. He is the co-founder of an Irish software development company, a social media consultancy, and is co-founder of hyper energy-efficient data center Cork Internet eXchange.

A thought leader in procurement, supply chain, finance and shared services, Marcell Vollmer is well known throughout the industry as a procurement and business thought leader and frequently-requested speaker at industry events, and author of books and a popular blog.
Marcell is Chief Digital Officer for SAP Ariba and his expertise lies in defining digital transformation strategy for global for customers and consumers by delivery high cost and additional procurement savings.
Previously, Marcell successfully developed and led global business development, procurement, go to market, sales operations, and enablement. Mohammade Check is a French Entrepreneur and Business Development Consultant focusing on the expansion of American and European companies’ footprints to African markets.
Check spent the last 10 years in South-Africa designing and developing safety, operational and environmental support tools for industries such as mining, aviation, energy and healthcare. He obtained a Master of science in Mathematics and Information Technology from the University of Reunion (France) and studied his MBA at the Gordon Institute of Business Science (South-Africa), thus bridging the gap between technology and business imperatives.
Anesu Charamba is a Technology Strategist at Altron BSI. Prior to this, he was a Consulting Manager with Frost & Sullivan and before that a consultant with EY. He has over nine years business and management consulting experience, with experience across the ICT, manufacturing, infrastructure, retail, and oil and gas sectors. Anesu has provided consulting services to companies across the continent, focusing on digital transformation, due diligence, strategy development and market research. Anesu holds a BA (hons) from Durham University, a master's degree from Aston University and a MBA from the University of Leicester. .
Christy is the founder and CEO of Empanda, specializing in organizational change, leadership, communication, and learning. She is passionate about creating engaging experiences in the real and virtual world that place people at the heart of the agenda. Empanda has a unique thought leadership centre that, combined with a team of creatives and graphic designers, is excited about gathering diverse perspectives and telling powerful stories. In September, Empanda went live with an eLearning tool for the United Nations Global Compact, which has an audience across 1,500 companies in over 160 countries. Christy has an MA in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from Magdalen College, Oxford, and was an officer in the British Army before starting her career at Accenture. Christy has over 20 years of corporate experience in major transformational change at major corporates.
An established industry expert, tech commentator and keynote speaker within the digital and mobile space in Africa, Lynette is recognised as one of the top 30 most influential women in SA digital marketing, a Regional Business Woman of the Year 2018 Finalist (run by the Business Women's Association of SA) , 2018 Female Role Model in Tech National Winner (SA) and 2018 People's Choice Winner Regional Winner in Southern Africa (Southern African Startup Awards). With over 20 years of experience in the tech, digital marketing and mobile solutions space, Lynette co-founded specialist mobile solutions consultancy Useful & Beautiful and has a passion for creating great customer experience that harness the power of mobile and digital to help businesses achieve their omnichannel goals. In her considerable experience in public speaking she has recently focused upon African of technology, mobile, design thinking, user experience and leadership. She is also frequently quoted in publications throughout Africa
Lynette serves on the judging panel for the EduTech Africa, AfricaCom and World Retail awards, West Africa Mobile Awards and Mobile Marketing Association. She also serves on various advisory boards globally.
Corlia is the Group ICT manager for Distell, SA’s leading producer and marketer for wines, spirits, ciders and ready-to-drinks. She is responsible for all ICT aspects on a global level, but her passion is digital and how it is transforming the world we live in. In her eyes, digital is the new Business-as-Usual and we need to take everyone on a journey with us. Her biggest goal is to make people see that digital does not equal ICT as the bigger picture is the business model transformation that is in play.
